Pineapple Blender Sorbet (no added sugar, dairy free, gluten free)

As a sweet lover, one of my favorite healthy sweet treats in blender “sorbet”. This tropical pineapple version gets an extra kick of flavor with ginger, and some crunchy texture from coconut and dark chocolate chips. Pineapple is a great source of vitamin C, and it’s rich in fiber to help keep you filling full.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce bag of frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • optional toppings: dark chocolate chips, unsweetened coconut shreds, pistachios, or other nuts/seeds of choice

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients except toppings in high-quality blender (such as the Ninja) until smooth.
  2. Spoon into 2-4 bowls, and top wth preferred toppings. It can even be made into popsicles by filling popsicle molds!
