
Don’t let the color fool you- this tropical green smoothie is oh-so delicious! Healthy fats from avocado lend a boost of heart health, while antioxidant rich fruits and veggies balance out the flavor. You can even freeze it into popsicle molds!
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 kiwi
- 1/2 of an avocado
- handful of kale or spinach
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk (for a smoothie bowl, use half as much milk to make it sweeter
- optional toppings: dark chocolate chips, unsweetened coconut shreds, sliced fruit
Note: use frozen fruit for an “icier” smoothie.
Method
- Blend all ingredients except toppings in a high quality blender (such as a Ninja) until well combined and smooth. Enjoy! For bowls, top with desired toppings.
